💻Exemption on Stamp duty on employment contract and remission of penalty

👉Bosses, remember to stamp your employment contract. Those employment contract signed btw 1 Jan 25 – 31 Dec 2025 is subjected to stamp duty. You can still enjoy the penalty remission within these period.

According to Stamp Act 1949, employment contract of wages > RM300 is required to pay stamp duty. Dont ignore this!

Stamp duty for employment contract RM10 / contract

Penalty:

Late within 3 months RM50

Late after 3 months RM100

👉雇主们记得把你们的雇佣合同拿去stamp！2025年的只要在12月31日之前stamp都可享豁免罚款。

雇佣合同是RM10一份罢了。

罚款：

逾期3个月以内 RM50

超过3个月 RM100
